About Westlake Build
Built From the Ground Up. Literally.
Westlake Build isn't a corporation. It's a conviction — that the most forgotten properties in Northeast Ohio hold the most extraordinary potential.
"I'm not building houses. I'm building the kind of places people will still be talking about in fifty years."
— Founder, Westlake Build
The Founder
One Person. One Vision. Zero Shortcuts.
Westlake Build started with a single observation: the properties that everyone else had written off were the ones with the most potential. Not despite their condition — because of it. A structure that's been neglected for decades has bones. It has character. It has the kind of raw material that new construction can never replicate.
The founder grew up watching neighborhoods change — sometimes for the better, sometimes not. The difference was always the same: whether the people doing the building actually cared about what they were creating, or whether they were just filling a lot and moving on.
Westlake Build exists to be the former. Every project is personal. Every property is chosen because it deserves better. And every worker who joins the crew is someone who understands that the work they're doing will outlast all of us.
The Vision
Luxury Isn't a Price Point. It's a Standard.
When we say luxury, we don't mean granite countertops and stainless appliances. We mean cobblestone courtyards that took three weeks to lay by hand. We mean marble-finished interiors sourced from suppliers who've been in business for a century. We mean architectural details that make people stop and look twice.
The Westlake, Ohio area is full of properties that have been overlooked by developers chasing volume. We're not chasing volume. We're chasing the one property on the block that everyone else drove past — and we're going to make it the one everyone else wishes they hadn't.
That takes time. It takes skill. And it takes a crew that understands the difference between finishing a job and finishing it right.
Future Projects
What We're Building Toward
The Cobblestone Courtyard Project
Westlake, OH
A distressed residential property with a forgotten rear lot — being transformed into a hand-laid cobblestone courtyard surrounded by restored architectural facades. The kind of outdoor space that becomes a neighborhood landmark.
The Marble Interior Series
Greater Cleveland Area
A series of residential renovations focused on interior luxury — marble finishes, custom millwork, and period-accurate architectural details sourced from specialty suppliers. Targeting properties with strong bones and neglected interiors.
The Abandoned Structure Initiative
Westlake & Surrounding
We're actively seeking abandoned or severely distressed structures near Westlake. These are the highest-potential projects — the ones that require the most work and produce the most extraordinary results. If you know one, we want to hear about it.

The Internship Philosophy
This Isn't a Training Program. It's an Invitation.
The construction industry has a pipeline problem. There are people who want to learn the trades, and there are projects that need skilled hands — but the path between them is broken. Certifications that cost money nobody has. Entry-level jobs that don't exist. Apprenticeships that take years to get into.
The Westlake Build internship program is a direct line. You show up. You work on real projects. You get paid. And if you're the kind of person who takes the work seriously, you build a track record that opens doors — Angi-rate contracts, project leadership, and a portfolio of work that speaks for itself.
Every position at Westlake Build pays competitive wages. Internship roles are compensated fairly for the work performed, and skilled tradespeople are paid at full Angi market rate. We don't believe in unpaid labor, and we don't believe in gatekeeping the trades.
